PALAK MITTAL PRODUCTIONS
In 2019, I started a production company to handle all the requirements that go into the business of photography & videography in-house.
We streamline the process and offer a higher standard of services - from conceptualisation to delivery. My team and I have taken on photography and videography projects shooting architecture and advertorials. We've worked with leading interior designers and architects across the country, having shot several residences, offices & hospitality projects. We have also created a broad range of content for companies like Urban Company, Dabur, and SG.
We also work with smaller homegrown businesses to conceptualise and shoot fashion, lifestyle & product content.
PALAK MITTAL - TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY ARTIST
I realised my love for photography early in life, which solidified my understanding of creativity and design through my time in art college.
I have been awarded the Future Young Leaders Scholarship from Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore, and the Scholarship for Creative Excellence from Welham Girls School, Dehradun.
I have collaborated with notable global artists and have had the privilege of exhibiting my work in prominent galleries across Singapore & India.
Culture Trip has recognised my photographs as their favourite Travel Photographs for the Year 2017 and Jan 2018. Furthermore, National Geographic recognised my work as an 'Editors Favourite' multiple times, and I've been published in magazines like Conde Nast Traveller, Lonely Planet, and Sotheby's Home & Art. Additionally, I have contributed to platforms like Incredible India, Homegrown, Little Black Book, and Times of India.
I have had the opportunity to travel across the globe, gain fantastic life experiences, and have the world be my classroom.
I have gone deep-sea diving in the crystal clear water of Maldives and sky diving over the picturesque landscapes of New Zealand. I trekked to the Gaumukh glacier at age 16 and drove from Manali to Spiti in an open gypsy at 23. I've made incredible memories hiking Tiger Hill in Bhutan, surfing in the Indonesian waters, white water rafting in Ganga, and camping under a sky full of stars in the Himalayas.
At the core, I am adventurous, empathetic, and artistic, with an appreciation for design and all things creative. I hope to continue exploring the world while satisfying my thirst for creativity through my photography practice.
