The Glass Villa, Goa - Travel Diary

I spent a relaxed weekend in Goa, escaping the Delhi cold with my best friend in the beautiful Glass Villa in Aldona, Goa. With the perfect weather and an on-call chef, this was the ideal getaway in a busy schedule.

The Glass Villa

Flying into Goa and driving an hour from the airport to this beautifully constructed luxury villa in the picturesque village of Aldona.

Early Mornings

I love to wake up early on vacation, grab my book and enjoy a quiet morning with my coffee, reading in a peaceful setting.

Infinity Pool overlooking the Aldona Backwaters

After a quick dip in the private pool, we head out for the day!

Anjuna Beach

A scenic 40 minutes drive from the villa to Anjuna Beach, where we meet a group of our friends for lunch.

Lunch by the Beach

Goa in December is always a good idea! Avoid the crowds and enjoy the fantastic weather and food.

View from the Villa

From the first storey of the house, we see the infinity pool and the river parallel to each other.

The sunken seating

The highlight of the villa is this sunken seating! An excellent space for entertaining friends over Mascarenhas's pizzas and music overlooking the pool.

Dinner by the Pool

End the night with dinner outdoors with delicious food prepared by the chef in the perfect weather.

End to the trip

Going beyond Goa's clubbing, casinos, and crowded beaches, I highly recommend staying at the peaceful, relaxing and luxurious Glass Villa.
